Below are our current lawsuits and appeals. Help us stop the unfair QIP tax!
Stop QIP filed for a Dismissal of the 5th Amendment– Takings Clause lawsuit in the Spirit of Compromise during the Frank Konyn referendum, but SaveQIP filed an answer and filed another lawsuit that was the same as the one CDFA lost just months before; a Summary Judgment against StopQIP.
So instead of clearing the courts of any lawsuits about terminating the Qip, Save QIP wanted no part of that, and so we now have a hearing on March 21, 2025 in a Sacramento Superior Court on getting rid of the QIP. We will put the Case on our web site when the Motion has been heard, and a ruling has been given.

Horne vs USDA
U.S. Supreme Court Filed in 2015
The US Supreme Court voted 8-1 in favor of the Horne’s from Kerman CA. The case took 10 years from start to finish, and the path was laid out there, for us to follow. Thank you to the Horne’s for their determination and, persistence for Justice.
